Coming to an end

Yes, it has been long since my last post; decided to post one last entry for this blog before I set up an offically new one which will be used for my attachment.

I have my very last exams for the academic year in Ngee Ann, shouldn't I be very happy about it? But the fact is not really. I will miss rushing through assignments, pages over pages. I miss those lecturers that gave me support and guidance throughout the semesters, remembering my name and asking me :" Liu Chin how are you?" Sadly, these are the only 2 issues that I will miss.

How much we hope that it is ending and now it is really ending. We have to move on no matter what, thus I will put all those memories and blessing into actions for better performance during my attachment; I have to ace through that before I can offically graduate.

Today is my last day of work at little professors education centre. Within these 3 months, I bring back with me many "things" that money cannot buy.
My boss, giving my encoragement and trust that I can handle issues alone. Chats to tell me that it is important to further my studies as diploma is insufficient.
Aileen, changing shift with me when I have to rush through assignments, tests and exams.
Mrs Ho, teaching me what was it to be a teacher; to be called Miss Yap was a new name for me. Having the responsibility to guide the students in their work and attitude.
Joyce, we share many common topic and great that you introduce the job to me, I will start when I come back for attachment. We will definitely keep in touch.
Mr Fok and Mr Wong for encouraging me, I will keep your words in mind and do well for attachment.

It was a short 3 months with them, how I hope it is longer but everything have to come to an end. I really learn alot, in terms of soft skills that I will bring with me for life. A fulfilling 3 months!!=)

There is really nothing much I can ask for, I always acheived what I want through hardwork and sweat. However, all these are possible only if opportunities are given to me, therefore I will always be prepared.

Attachment is up next; i have mixed feelings towards this trip to Shanghai.

A few of my friends has been asking me why my MSN nick is "overloaded assignments" since it is holidays. There is really lots of work that is driving my nuts. Looking at my messy tables with lots of books informed me that there are many work to be completed.

Reflecting back on the past 2 years, all those gone through is really nothing. This time round is really too much for me to undertake.

I believe I am not the only person undergoing all this stress. I need time to pause my mind, seriously sit down and work my assignment out nicely with Quality. My work are all in bits and pieces. But I least I started.

The next 2 months believed will be my worst life in poly, rushing through datelines. Oh gosh, I need lots and lots of mental and physical strength.

Overloaded assignments and insufficient brain space to brainstorm.

Let me list down so that everytime i visit the blog i will be reminded.
To logistics students out there, do take note as well as we really don have much time
- CRM PBL (PPT slides and E-contents: 30%)
- DT assignment( 1 report, 1 proposal and ppt slides: 20%)
- GLog Assignment( E-content and ppt: 20%)
- GLog tradenet: 10 %
- Six Sigma catapult (Report and a toy catapult: 20%)
- WISP(PPT: 40%, this is shit) AND IS WEEK 12: 1 WEEK AFTER SCH REOPENS!!!!!!!!

- Facilities assignment: PPt ( 30%)

Everyone is drained by the assignment: HOW I HOPE EVERYTHING WILL BE OVERR SOON SOON SOON.....

And yes, my holiday started as there is no common test.
The past 1 week were a mixture of stress and gladness; why?
All important assignments were completed nice and sweet; though there are 3 tests but it was very much managable =)

Started work at little professors, although it was quite busy at certain time but it was afterall a very enjoyable job. Students come in and out for their tuition; it is so fast so fast that time actually flies. Another generation of students out there and we are already before them.
Science started at Primary 3 instead of Primary 4 at my time. Parents waiting outside for their child. When young, i feel that tuition is useless as it only add to our workload; lucky no need being force to go tuition.

The teachers were young as well, undergrads and waitng for entry to uni. So people; if you think you can teach subjects from P1 - JC. Come join little professors, we need you.

29 May 09 Friday is a rushing day!!

Went back to school to submit IS assignments; after which rush home to complete all E-learning assignment.

I cannot imagine that within 1 day

Grading assignment includes;
WISP - 35%
Human Communication - 30%
Six Sigma - 20%
CRM and Global Log - 10%
DT and FP - About 10% (not too sure)

Wow, that is more than 100% of the grade out of the 700%

this somehow give a signal that not much time is left before exams going to come soon.

the following week i still have 3 tests to embark; oh man that's pretty too much.
So now, i got to say; there is a difference between year 3 compared to the previous 2 years!!

I dunno, I am confused.
Maybe too high the expectations leads to more disappointment; yes is true.

hey, i really prefer going to school rather then having e-learning with over piling assignments from each module.
SSP -1 report 10%, this is simply hell man!!!
Crazy; too high the weightages

Time really seems to fly; done nothing much and is already mid week.
Next week simply tedious with 3 tests; what the difference between test and common test. Yes! there is and it is the percentage thingy that is driving mee siao!

Simply don understand why there is much a module to make our brain cells deplete!
According to my lecturer it is to make us better students of history; like i mind
Can they opt out the module forever; so what if it is a YES, I believe this batch of students still need to complete it.

It's friday; another week just got to past.
Already week 5; upcoming 6
Overpiling assignments that are not at all motivating!

Upcoming week will be extremely packed for events and all those assignments
1) Sat and Mon open house at SST
2) WISP = Discusssion board on heroes
3) Human Comm = 30% Assignment
4 -7) 4 E-learning assignments that have to be done on assign timing
8) Distribution and transportation Lab
9) Facilities planning tutorial

Not forgetting assignments to be completed by the end of the semester; still pending for ideas.
It's got to be tough; how I hope it's over.
No time for other kind of entertainment; nevermind we will have it during our 3 weeks holiday. so it is not that bad afterall. Meanwhile, really hope that my brain juices are at their tip top conditions to assist me in completing the listed tasks.

Pretty enlightened today after both IS lessons!
Very much on the right track and I believe it will not be too much of a problem.

Yes, i dislikes WISP since day 1 as they are issues far away from us ( in fact it is not far, just that we do not want to know about the world outside; staying on our comfort zone)
BUT BUT BUT
I enjoyed this week lesson, Mr Chan is indeed a very knowledgable lecturer who is able to look at issues from different perspectives. What's more; he share with us lots of internet resources that will assist us in completing our assignments. These resources are very useful now as well as in the future. Therefore, I am sure going to enjoy the rest of the lessons from today onwards.

I once regretted choosing Human communication as another IS module as I feel that the teacher Ross is rather slack and feel that we cannot score with that attitude.
BUT AGAIN today, I saw another side of him sharing information and giving comments on our assignment, I know he will be a good teacher. My group members for assignment is good; yes with very powerful ideas from benjamin; we will do well. As what you had say, we will repeat the grades we get for POM; hopefully.

Afterall, school is not that bad =)
I feel that IS lecturers seems much better then our modules lecturers
Nevertheless, I have 5 lecturers that I really feel they deserved compliments. They are excellent people whom guide, encourage and give me opportunities. Want to know who are they, I will reveal them sometime later.

It's the annual graduation ceromony, the next one will be mine turn
Another 3-4 months, we will be out of campus; cherish while I can. In fact I also dunno what I should cherish, afterall it is just a campus for education?

Great day out with Kim with movie and our first visit to Singapore Flyer.
Basically, it somehow a trip in which calm me down and offically ready for all school work =)
Catch "Taken", worth the time. Went flyer as there is a promotion at $10, really value for money. The view was very nice; we choose the correct timing - 7.15pm where the sky is still bright and half way through the sunset, so we managed to catch both the bright view as well as the night view of Singapore.

心情很沉重；不知道要从何开始。
明明有很多课业等着完成，可心不在焉的我真的没力量。
或许是休息了几周提不起劲，还是我已知足满足。

再说真的不容易；老师的要求提高了。
我厌倦了学习生涯的种种；
- 挤巴士的早晨；面对许许多多的学生
- 听着老师上课，自己与同学大多都没再听；那我们上课的意义在那里？
- 考试时背书，过后把它忘得一干二净；那有何用？
- 课业要是草率完成；那我们真真是在学习吗？

还有大约四个月，就结束了。
相信到时的我会是很轻松的。我真的不想再面对这些压力了

我相信大多数人都没在开学的第三周就有如此的心态，或许我对自己的要求太高了.

My biggest fear is on WISP; although I have a draft on my mind as well as on paper but in my perspective; a 25% assignment is more than what I have. Have been very disturbed by the assignment for the entire week. If I were to have a good grasp of English language, I believe I will not be so worried now. It's all about writing in good language. 1 topic, 5 pages, 25% of the module. What can I do to do my best.

Until the assignment is handed in, if not I believe I will never stay happy till then; so I may go crazy for the next few weeks to come. I am okay, don worried; time will prove everything; alright =)

Assignments starts piling up;
but i am glad that i end school early on wed and thurs so that I have sufficient time to produce some good work.
What's More: Besides IS, I do not need to buy laptop anymore. That's what I have been hoping for Since year 1.

Weather has not been good recently, flip-floping of shine and rain was unpredictable, as well as the flu that is worse than SARS. Really need to be more careful

Yes, an year 3 student. There do not seems to have any difference physically, emotionally but maybe somehow mentally there is. What's the difference between the 3 words. 整体上并没有不同，感觉上也是；但心灵上必须调整。

I need time to switch my mood to study, hopefully it will not take too long. The modules seems so dry, memory is the key issues. I felt tired just to listen to teacher read from slides and sit down there gaining nothing.

Pretty confidence about all modules, as long as I carry out all assignment dutifully, they are not much a problem

However, I fear my IS modules. For the past 2 years, they were modules that help me score but I believe it is not the case anymore this time round. I have to start giving up my beloved chinese language to read english books so that I will be able to complete my writing assignments for WISP. Oh shit, my english is damn lousy, I must try to improve.

Leo Wave Camp this weekend, hopefully after entering the new week. I am prepared to take all challenges.

To clique: As we say it is going to be the last semester together in campus and what Mr dickson Lim had say, don care about yr past semester grades, working hard to improve will be great. 加油！

Sch reopens in 2 days.
It's time again to keep our mind and brain active on academic matters.
It will be the last semester of study in which attachment will follows, believe it is not going to be easy.

I tried hard for the past semesters and I will continue to do my best in whatever assignments that are coming my way. Doing your very best for each and every assignment is a way of respect to yourself as well as to the lecturer who has set and going to grade your assignment.
I watched the current channel 8 9am drama " the table glory", there is a sentence
" Even if you know that yr opponent is not as strong as you, putting your best in the match is a form of respect for each other"
Therefore, I personally feel that this do apply to me as well.
It will be the last semester in campus, I will work hard, study hard, play hard and experience as much as I can so that wonderful memories will be kept. In fact, for the past 2 years, I enjoyed every single MDE activity as well as activities organised by the CCAs groups that I am in.
All these experience is what money cannot buy.

Meet up with Sheryl yesterday to watch "Revolutionary Road" at vivo city. A nice movie that is funny, touching and sad at the end. We had great food as well; lunch was Ramen and dinner was nice at 店小二。The local food they serve was nice and we promised to go back another day. We get an additional 12% off as we are the early bird- first 10 tables; so anyone that want 店小二 should be there by 5.30pm to enjoy the discount.
While we were walking around vivo to decide on dinner, there were quite a few that caught our attention but the price was also very expensive. Therefore, we were saying "Next time when we work, then we can enjoy all these" Really tempting, Sheryl remember our date when we get the first pay, get the rest out to enjoy together alright? haha.

We were also chatting about what we going to do after poly, it is really that we spend 20 odd years studying, hey what the purpose man? But I believe our main gain is having a group of friends that we can spend quality time together.

On the sadder note, I will not get a chance to meet either Melody or Shijiao in campus this semester, they are all out of campus.
But we are all going to work hard to complete what that must be done, so 加油.

I simply enjoyed myself very much today!!=)
MDE Freshmen induction program was a great success, an effort of everyone.
Bringing my group around the school for stations games was excellent.
It was indeed amazing to see how strangers come together, they "3C",
Communicate
Coordinate
Cooperate
simply to complete the tasks given to them, meanwhile future leaders were spotted.
they are a great batch of students and I was really happy guiding them and answering their queries.

On another note, a new batch of students will mean we are a year closer to graduation. Year 3 is just days away. More work and assignments which are definitely more difficult.

If I were to be working this period, I would had miss this great opportuntity to gain such a wonderful experience.

well, is another long day out tomorrow to plan for leo wave =)

的确这假期过得比以往没意义，待在家没做些特别的。

除了那短暂的工作。

可是；

我看了好些书！三天内看了五本，都是华文。

我从新找回我曾经热爱的华文华语。

那感觉的确很好。

我一直都认为自己满失败，华文英文都不是很好，将来如何整整踏入社会？

如果我不努力些，恐怕不行。

单会说并那么好，需要会写，这没那么容易了。

接下来的两个星期我会再拜访读书馆，书中是有黄金屋的。

可我也必须借些英文书籍，可不能忘了这国际语言。

那好，一个星期华文，一个星期英文。可我偏心，还是喜欢华文。

我尽量。哈哈

所以，这假期我过得还不寂寞。

只有在没事做时，才会有如此领悟，那何不是一种乐趣。

在电话中与宗芸聊天的机会也多了：）

父母又好像要去云顶，我不是很想去。

因为上次棋晶说好像没太多娱乐了

应该是我们去了好多次了，好像去了六次了。

已经两年多了，再次回去的感触是截然不同的。

因为一群很棒的朋友，学习生涯不会枯燥。

现在回去，老师们都好忙，只是聊了几句。都还记得我们，可话题都是关于学业，知道我们现在就读的课程。

老师们还是认为我们那批学生是较有品质的一批。

本想回去见见中四的级任老师，真可惜她有事先回家了。

真的不知道再次回去是何时，大家都独自忙于自己的学业。

the route I used to take daily from home to school had a few changes. Some shops were no longer there. It was once a place where I walked into without the need to change for pass, but now IC in exchange for a VISITOR pass.

Well, it did change. Glad that we still keep with touch with our teachers and having a fantasic group of friends.

The 1 week assignment had ended
I enjoyed myself to a great extent; due to a few factors.

Firstly, "funny customers"; parents whom ask more then 10 questions and examples;
- Is there shuttle bus from this or that location?
- Can the school update laptop that are not bought from school?
- I want to check my enrolment status now!! ( They can only check after 30 March)
etc.. hey, we are the finance department! not student services or academic affairs!
And also when I ask for fee voucher, a parent ask if they do not need to pay cos he say voucher is used to pay. Like popular and shopping voucher. He said that he also want to pay $8 for an extra EZ link card for himself. The student Number of his daughter end with a K, he said that if the number can turn into cash, he will be more then a zillionaire.
There were many more such customers; and they definitely entertain us to the maximum. My first customer service job! A new era added to my resume.

Secondly, the fun loving staffs from the finance department that supervise us. They told us ghost stories and abit of chit chat. Florence and Ping Ping our supervisor for the treat of Subway on the last day of work! U people are great!! Hopefully our performance did not disappoint u.

Lastly, it was the accompany of fantastic people. A total of 4 of us, the guys for cracking funny jokes and sihui for lunch accompany!! I totally enjoyed working with you guys.

Not to forget, it is somewhere close to me; Ngee Ann Poly. I understand more about finanical issues such as CPF and PSEA. It is not an easy job for the finance department, so we should be more understanding.

It was filled with joy, fun and laughter, although at some point it was slightly stress.

After working at the finance department in school, I have lots of random thoughts that run past my mind each day.

Firstly, must parents these days be so protective towards that child that is already 16++. Hey,it is already poly and parents still ask " can I follow him to school on the first day of school?" I thought that is only done in Primary School at age 6++. Are you trying to say that after ten odd years of education, your child still have not grown up.

Recalling 2 years back, where I have to do the entire enrollment on my own, payment to be done at OCBC where mum just pass me the money. It was still vivid on my memories that shijiao and myself have to make the purchase of the laptop on our own. We then carry both laptop to my house where sj repack. Hey, it is a laptop each as the as the accessories, we have to use 2 hands. I still remember I help sj to carry the laptops while she carry the accessories as well as tapping my EZ link card for me. Another way round when we board the shutter bus to my house. This is how we survive!!!

Secondly, financial assistance is only for those families that really need it. Please never misuse is offer from school. Families that came to apply for assistance this year;
If you are really poor, then u should not have handphones; you may give excuses that people need to contact. But hey, 当你真的没钱；拥有手提电话可是个负担。
Their dressing do not show
There are still all sorts of people that I do not hope to list.
And I also detest people who say they have NO money, then still have money to travel overseas; giving all sorts of reasons (无论那些理由都不成立） buy bags and clothes, take taxi, instead of cooking every meal; they eat outside.

But never mistaken me, is ok between friends to say that I am broke and save the money. I believe my friends will understand what I mean!!

Thirdly, looking back at my friends in 2e5, 2004. They are really wonderful. I believe that the batch of friends that you mix with do affect the way you present yourself. I am rather confident that all 10 girls including myself as well as guys are rather independent. We do not shed a try easier and do our best in whatever we undertake.
Currently, everyone is taking a different route but recalling back those joyful days, it did put a smile across my face.
Everyone attended 2 chalets, mostly sponsered by teachers. Everyone stay for the night, you see ALL stay. So I have to say, I believe that from then on all parents trust their child. This is how we learn to be independent and mature through the days.
Huihui and yixin always worked hard for the class noticeboard and as a class helped out and we were the champions class.
Enjoyed all those girl guides activities with Sheryl and Huihui, those few courses that we get to attend.
Prefects duty and camp with Shi Jiao and Melody.
Thankful to Yixin for organizating all activities, even currently.
Yulin, Eunice and Shimin(known as YES) that cracks jokes to spice schoollife
Yanshan for helping in anyway possible
Not forgetting on one of the day that we had Amath test and after that the whole gang went to play photohunt. If I am not wrong, we managed to be top scorer??
Guys that were there to crack more jokes!!

I really feel that friends do influence each other very much and I am glad that I hava an good batch of friends. Even though these days, we do not really meet up but we still remembers each other. I LOVE them ALL

Suddenly have the feel to write so much; that's is why I love working during holidays. I get to experience and learn new things as well as looking at issues from different angles! It help me keep my brain going even though there is no schoolwork.

i thought this holiday will be an extreme bored one but it was not till now.
Monday
went to ECP to try roller blading, it was indeed a good experience. Not yet master the skill but at least get a feel of it
Tuesday
Went back to school for BTE Briefing and do some packing for the materials needed.
Wed
Class Chalet at Chervons; there is really nothing much to do.
If there is another one, hopefully it is at ECP or somewhere in which entertainment is available
Thursday
Took the first bus home and I slept the entire day, had been lack of sleep.
Friday
Went for job briefing, it is about Finance, a new era for me. So happy that I will get to learn how to use the NETS machine.

The upcoming week will be busy with helpout at aunt place and aerobics on weekends.
Outing on mon and tues, followed by work on Wed.

In fact I am quite fortunate to be able to find a job every holiday so that I will not rot at home..

Exams are finally over!!
E-Commerce was managable, able to walk out of the exam hall feeling happy
Supply Chain was a moderate paper which I need to ponder abit harder, and to step out of the exam hall knowing I have not let myself down
Warehousing is not the case anymore, I struggle to pen down my answer and know that I will never do well in this paper. I believe this will be my first C grade module; will see the outcome on the 20th March. After this entry, I will not think about exams anymore!
As the semester went by, admit that it is getting tougher and tougher to really concentrate on studies, I find it more tedious to get on the info into my already overflow brain. But as students, that is our only choice.

I will be slacking at home till the 11th of March, cannot really think of where to go!!

i very much look forward to this day since young.

nevertheless, my house is always packed on 大年初一, all aunties and uncles will come and the entire day will be spent.

my dad had always loved this festival and he had put in great efforts in decorating the entire house and now was red!! 红彤彤的，好有气氛。Due to overpiling schoolwork and help out at my aunt shop, that nothing I helped out tis year in the house; lucky mum never nag!!

there are lots of goodies at home; oops i am going to gain another 2 kg!!

btw, my parents like the cheesecake made by weiting. she made them for norris and cash IS, so we support by buying. NICE!! YUMMY. lucky i bought sufficient for all of them!!

In less than 24 hours, we gotta wave goodbye to an eventful 2008; with great joy and laughter to welcome 2009.
International based; quite a few heartaching events occur that had win a space on the headlines news. each and everyone have a learning lesson and know that we must not take things for granted. those invovled; do put away all those memories and MOVE on.
Singapore was not spared as well; i feel that the bad overtake the good. i hope that the terrorist will be caught soon if he is really escaping!!

Personally, 2008 had been fruitful although it is again a very normal year!
i believe that hard work do pay off
thailand trip had been good although there are a few stuffs which.... well take it as a learning point...
alot more commitment in CCAs that made me very fulfilling
work at MAZAK was indeed learning outside the textbook.
excellent way to end 2008 was leo fusion camp; touched by everyone efforts!!

sm,sx, wy: thanks for tolerating my nonscene. i am sorry if i am demanding for our projects. Let's work harder and do make an effort to memorise this semester modules. We have only a semester before our attachments.

chemlog paper was not easy and i believe i have difficulty in scoring; usually i will have heartache over questions i cannot do as i know i am going to get them wrong. HOWEVER; this time round, i have no such feeling.

it has been 2 weeks since the new semester started!

new modules; new challenges and many more unknown ahead..
many a times we often question ourselves the purpose of schooling, simply to do it cos friends of the same age are doing so or you really LOVE to study.
besides what the use of studying so hard?

this semester got to be really sucky and bloody
all modules are basically theory which means memory work
it does not give me the motivation to pay attention in class
projects and assignment are not much of any interest

it really give me a second thought of whether to continue studying after graduating from np.
the boring lecture, self research and many many more notes just purely to memorise if u want to do well in exams!

what's the purpose then?

well, i believe life is a cycle.

skipped the trip to genting with kim and family; hey girl- u must be enjoying and here i am cracking my brain to complete my schwork.

i am sure going to make use of tomorrow to complete all the near-to-due assignments.
lastly;

have confident in yoursrlf, trust that u can do it.
every assignment is new, no one know how to do. it is through long hours of research and reading that we can produce work of good standard.

if anyone can do it, then everyone can do it as well.

no matter how fun the trip would be. it is still great to return home; a place where i belong.
while journey on both the normal and bullet train; have been thinking quite alot.
days were like heaven in taiwan and i feeling really fantasic while travelling.
Promised myself to work hard so i will be able to travel more often in the future
after visiting 2 countries, no matter how wonderful they may be; Singapore is still my home

It is febuary; sometimes we got to admit that time will not wait for you for whoever you are. It is amazing how time will change our lives.

Everything will come to an end regardless it is events you love or detest; i used to hate iac but after putting a full stop to that module, i finally realised how that research project has drilled me into a more confidence and outspoken person as well as the lectures by our experience teacher, I have benefited so much.

The semester is coming to an end after my econs test and bizca presentation; not forgetting exam which are after cny. I am looking forward but I MUST really work extremely hard, at least to assure myself of a better GPA. I cannot afford to waste anymore of my time or games and drama on youtube; they are addictive!!! Sometimes, it really better not to own a laptop.

I got to mug for mine econs test!!

really looking forward to chinese new year!!! There are lots of festive food at home now:)

Still have Bizca presentation and test, econs quiz to draw an end to the whole semester before the examination... After months of work and stuff, it soon over and we can heave a relief but we have to face reality after that -- GPA.

Sometimes I really feel that it is meaningless to work so hard and your fate depend on your grades and your grades depend on the final exam..

People will say that examination is not a good judgement of how clever a person may be, because someone who did not score well does not mean that they are stupid. And we students will always hope that there is no exam in school BUT the fact is that there is no other ways in which we can know whether a student is of a better lot!!

There is always failure in everything, education is no exception.

One may flew and soar high with high education but one will enter imh. There is always two sides to a story!!

After a few days of having a lousy mood, today i am quite glad wif my presentation of iac and commtoolkit test. Really!!! Ms Sharon has bring back my confidence in presentation; just 5 words can make my day. Her commends for me: Excellent Presentation with great Confident.. Thank you so so much.. Holidays was my topic for oral test and ms tan also say i did well.. My day ended well today as i help out in NPYuhua. We get free doughnuts and a bottle of grape juice...

However, i am still upset wif my maths presentation but i am not going to allow that minor thing to affects whatever that is in me now. I know that my expectations are quite high but I truely believe it is expectations and dreams that strive everyone on. I am not a person who go poly to just pass my modules and receive a paper: Diploma.. NO WAY!! I want to do well and score with my hardest effort. In addition, after so many projects and stuff in poly, i totally agreed that "Hard work pay off". Due to low commitment for maths, i screw it up. Lot of effort for COIP and EIS and i receive the module prize. For this semester, i hope that i will get a rather satify GPA as i must admit I am not working so hard compared to last semester.

Life is never easy, we have to face so many people and work just to score. How I hope I am still young, where parents can just spoonfeed me.

Kicking off the start of 2008 is no longer that happy-go-lucky mood which i use to have in past 10 years. There are endless projects and assignment and blame it on myself for not having the motivation to complete it in holidays.

Today is the last day of 2007; it is indeed amazing how fast time will fly without one realising how much or how little things have you done. To me, this year have been a rather monotonus year for me..
Ended secondary life and proceed to somewhere in which most people feel that there are extremely different. Have to be rather thankful to have choosen the right course that i know it suits me and highly possible to take up as my future career. Have also meet great teachers that lighten up my days to school. Nevertheless, it is always true that friendship in poly is not easily made, especially project mates.. I hate my iac teammates currently..(they may detest me too)
1Lo3 have been a rather bored class during the first term and there seen to be changing to a better light as we proceed. sometimes we do feel that we are not cooperative and do not really appreciate the outings and chalets but there is a need to thank wei ting for the activities she have organise. I promised to be more entusiatic to those events in 2008!
Spending my holidays working at both admin and cartel have been a great experience for me. It is somewhere in which you are basically left alone to complete the assigned task. There gone the days where teachers and friends are surrounded to correct your mistakes. you will just get scolded when something gone wrong.

A few regrets may be not involving myself in a cca in school as well as playing much more computer games due to having a laptop. It may to rather late for me to join a cca but i will try to get one. As you know i am not a art, sports and music type, is tough to choose one.. haha
Owning a laptop have been my wish when i was in secondary sch but after getting one, i really hope that i do not need to bring it to sch daily...

Now, i just hope that all my projects can be completed successfully, especially iac. I know that i will not be able to maintain my GPA as in last sem but i will still work hard for the remaining 6 weeks before ending year 1 in poly...

无法很顺畅地与英文来写，所以还是让华语来代替。看了戏剧情牵25，能肯定岁月不留人，可是会留下无可避免的痕迹。 25 年后的我将会如何，没有人能回答我！能经历过那艰苦的岁月，相信他们都市是勇敢的。
看了红星大奖，我想说：人生没有‘包’赢或‘包’输。没到最后一秒，无法知道赢家是那位。我相信运气和努力，在很多时候要两者的配合才会成功。演艺界是个残酷的地方，我同意。可是现实生活也大同小异。
在接下来一星期的假期，我会写下2007的心情与对2008年的期望。

Finally itl is over, no more 15 pages of information... I will get to stay at home to complete whatever i love.
Having been watching star search 25 and 2007. Although i am just a viewer of the show, i have lots of emotions flowing past my mind. Is 25 years long? i have not reach that age so i am not able to answer that!!!

The long awaited break has finally arrived!! Nevertheless, it is during this period where we have time to completed or even start with the overpiling assignments and projects. This round of common test make me feel that i am not going to ace this semester like last sem. Is okay, there is nothing else i can do...

Time really flies, we are left with 8 more weeks before we complete year 1 and time to proceed to yr 2 where is a new stage with many different experience!! In fact, how i hope that time will travel the same speed as it is doing now becos i will soon be a graduate of poly and then ready to move on to a different journey of life. However, the journey of reaching that stage is never easy and then we will again have to make choice of the jobs we want or which uni to go....
Hey pple, so u want time to travel faster or slower??

This 2 weeks are there to complete 3 projects and i want quality work, therefore i must really put in my heart and soul becos it is only through projects that may be able to pull back my marks.. Hope that my team mates cooperate with me.

本来是决定过了测验再写博客，不过这两天心情很不好。我不能了解人生的意义，事情往往逆道而行。牺牲了无数的睡眠来读测验可是却无法在那短短的小时发挥出来。好失望！
试试问自己，人生的目标在那里，而自己现在所做的值得吗？
我非常希望能学业与课外都能取得好成绩，不过花时间在它们值得吗? 将来做功，社会要的是那些东西。现在的我只希望能全力以赴，再也不要想超越他人。能不能在下学期的奖以不重要了！
大家都在为自己的利益做事，只要没有伤害他人，应该可以去做。
假期就要降临了，我必须在那期间做些自己喜欢的事，让心情好一些。

他们的至尊心被狗吞没。我千思万想都没料到那三位会作出如此的举动，让我好失望。在一起的八个月，他们给我的影像还不错，今天过后他们在我心中的形象永远改变。

试卷的难度的确难倒我，不过我不会因为想拿到好成绩而出卖我的至尊。接下来的日子，我不会再给与他们任何帮助，不要怪我太自私因为我已心灰意冷。

就让今日成为明日的过去，在我脑海留下痕迹。

我希望自己能及格，那就心满意足。

剪了头发，可是没太大的改变。

It marks the end of 5 young dragonboat members; this shows how unpredictable life will always turn out to be! It is a loss to the country and not a single person out there will feel the pain in their parents, unless you gone through similar situations. I am not sure how fate has arranged my life, what i can do every moment is just to love myself before loving others. I agreed to the phrase that rui en has quoted: If you wants to be everything to everyone, then you are nothing to yourself. I dunno how much this phrase stands but at i feel it has a important message across and that is you will not be able to please anyone and there is also no purpose for pleasing everyone.
The following week will be hell week to me!!! Too much things to be completed and yet not having a right mood to carry out the tasks. Things changes, just weeks ago where everything turn out so smoothly but now things go haywire; no one can predict what will happens tomorrow. I think my expectations for myself are too high and i am sure not having sufficient energy to overcome these expectations.
To jianbin and desmond of commtool kit and IAC: Please stop saying i am a pro in english when i just score a B3. I know it can be considered not a bad grade but yet I am still not able to feature out how i obtain this grade in Os. And also I am NOT a scholor. I will try my best in assisting all of you, overall is teamwork. Now I understand how Hui Hui Feels!!!
I have 3 tests in the week to come:
- Econs: 25% with 35 questions, my aim is to score 28/35
-ITL: 10%, Aim for 8%
-BIZCA: 20%- I have least confidence as i am a computer idiot.
I am not revised yet, how to make my aim come true..
Why am i blogging at this moment which i am supposed to complete ITL tutorial 3? The reason is I am unable to come out with the answers and is stoning at the computer. I am trying to escape but reality tells me that the dateline is still today no matter how much you escape.
Gotta catch a movie with yulin, yx, sm, sheryl in orchard tonight and hopefully it motivates me to study for test. Good luck everyone and be sure to win this war.

Once agian, I am being conquered by Maths test yesterday. What a failure!!! I am really not sure what is flowing through my mind in that 40 mins and it is freezing cold in the room. The questions are so logical and yet my mind thought it is going to be real tough... What can i say??
Nevertheless, I am not going to let that 5% affect me and sure going to do better in the common test.
我会把我的信心找回来，永远对它不离不弃。

时间飞逝，不知不觉这学期的第七个星期将到来。再多两个星期就测验了，过后就是大家盼望已久的假期。有一把声音在告诉我，我必须温习，可是没有一股力量在推动我。很多科目都没有完全理解，恐怕无法取得好成绩。
时间过得挺快，无论是欢喜还是悲哀，时间不会因为我们的心情而停留。我们要学会适应大环境的变化，在从而学会独立。
就挨多几个星期吧，那就可以短暂远离书乡。

red camp was great!!! i enjoy myself very much and i get to see how students from different schools come together as a tribe. That's wonderful...... Meet lots of SLs and everyone is great!!! Sure to join in next year. We had KFC on day 1 and pizza hut today 4 lunch....Having a zouk tomorrow, red campers and SLs going rock the convention centre tomorrow!!

This week have been rather a fruitful week for me. Although it is birthday week at neopets which allow me to earn more neopoints but still i keep the time limit to 2 hours for the entire week. I hope i will maintain this::)
Thursday had been a rewarding day for me; received 2 cert for the hard work put in and i am really glad to once again see mr wee and have a real short chat with him. Is rare to meet such a wonderful teacher. Nevertheless, mr tan, mr ooi and mrs sunil would always be remembered.
I hope my performanace this semester will also be satifiying, it is not a must to be rewarded by the school but least not to disappoint my parents and myself.
It is great to complete all the assignment before the dateline, at least i know i do not need to give up my beauty sleep to rush those assignment and rush work most of the time will not be as good as a work where you have put in your heart and soul to complete. I have completed;
- MOL
-Maths tutorial 5
-Business Finance assignment; i know it is 2 person a group and sx,sm,wing each do a part, therefore since i have the time i do one set myself so that when we hand in, don need paraphrase each other work
-Case 5 PBL. ( 2 part unable to do but will complete by tomorrow)
-Read up a bit on econs topic 3( Must do that in the future, if not sure not going to understand)
ITL Tutorial questions( Wei Jie anyhow do, I have 3 pages long of answer for 7 questions and he only have 1 page so i help him touch up quite a lot, haiya, what can i say)

What left 4 me to complete for the next week is
- Bizca indivual homework
- Some research for the information paper for ITL(I know i must really start if not will not be able to complete by week 10; it is 15 pages full of writing with font size 12; hope wei jie and yan ze will cooperate with me)
-Do econs tutorial 3 those questions mr ng have taught.

I know i talking too much but i realise if i list down everything that should be completed then it motivate me to carry out. Not to forget common test is nearing, so it is really time to do some revision when i have spare time; My rule stand MAX TIME FOR NEOPET IS 2 HOURS

And lastly, a safe and happy trip back to Singapore Shimin...

Sometimes, i am really speechless about exam and quiz. Why is this so that everytime we will realise how easy the question can be minutes later we hand in the paper. This is what we called exam; a way to examine our mind. Will get back quiz 1 soon..
I spend a good 3 hours and using about 300 pieces of paper to print all the powerpoint slides needed for lecture. How is wish i was still in Secondary school where notes are given by our teachers and what we need to do is just to read them and do well for tests and exams.. Stop dreaming as this will never occur anymore in ngee ann poly..
This deadful week have finally come to the end, hope that weeks that follow will be of great favour for me.
Finally have the time to arrange all my notes and place them in an individual file each. OMG; i did that in week 1 last sem but i did it only in end of week 4 this time round... What a failure...... I must really buck up, i cannot afford to spend anymore time in games anymore as i really do not understand any single bit on economics and teacher is proceeding to topic 3 next week....I must try my best to maintain or improve my GPA, therefore I will announce here that i will not spend more than 2 hours per week in games from next week onwards whenever i am in school....I really hope I have enough resilience to undergo this challenge for myself.
There will be a writing test for comm toolkit next week and this will be my first time writing a compo eversince O level.... I looking forward to it but yet fear my language and vobcab were rusty.
Mentioning about O level, make me recall the sleepless nights spent memorising and numuous calls to clear doubts acing for the exams together with e5 girls. These days would always be remembered and sad to say, such days will NEVER occur in poly.......

我知道现在的课程需要很好的英文基础，可是我还是较热爱华文。我能更顺畅地把心里所要讲的话以华文来书写。可是就是没办法与同样程度来与英文接触。希望在这一点能进步。

昨日是我最后一次在cartel上班，虽然是短暂的几个星期可是我地确在那里学到了不少东西。从一位无法拿很多碗盘到今日可以五指打开拿碗盘的地面，不可小看这小小的成就。那里的人虽口硬，心地是善良的，感激所有给我指导的人。在那里也得到非常短暂的友情，相信他们都会成为我人生的过客。我坚信我必须虚心学习，才会在人生不同的阶段得到增至，让我得到更多的人生经练。这些微不足道的经练或许是我将来成功的秘诀。不可小看。最后，我要感谢父母在我放工时载我回家。我知道你们关心我，可是，在这阶段，必须学会独立，这才会让我僵硬的翅膀展翅高飞。

我必须开始展开再一次的奋斗，让我在学习路程中得到最完美的成绩与回忆。

back to school and i sense life will never be easy in this semester. All the modules do not need memorise and we need a lot of general knowledge so as to score... there seems to be no click between any teachers; unlike last sem where teachers are fun-loving. I understand that this time round everything is sure to be tougher, therefore more endurance is definitely needed so as to move on..haha:) Once again;
